With just one day in New York after returning from San Diego, I got on a plane again, this time for Milwaukee.
As a rule of thumb, it’s better not to arrive into the same airport that’s waiting for an ex-president, but in this case, Bush’s arrival the same day as me didn’t cause any problems. Neither did the passenger who had to be ejected from a plane that was already on the runway.
So Milwaukee went smoothly, with an inquisitive crowd Wednesday night, and then a lovely meeting with local clergy and educators on Thursday morning.
Boulder is next.
